Basketball Recap: Oakmont Has No Trouble Against Center

Oakmont won the last time they faced Center and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Oakmont Vikings put the hurt on the Center Cougars with a sharp 59-37 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Center's loss came despite strong showings from Reniaya Applin and Charlotte Wallace. Applin almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds, while Wallace posted eight points. Those eight points gave Wallace a new career-high.

Oakmont's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Center, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Oakmont will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bear River at 6:00 p.m. As for Center, they are taking a road trip to challenge Colfax at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Colfax will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Center surely won't give up without a fight.
