Soccer Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch managed to keep up with Alameda until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Antioch Panthers lost 4-1 to the Alameda Hornets. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Antioch now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Alameda, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Antioch face off against the Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alameda, they will head out to face off against San Leandro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
