Walther Christian Academy is 7-1 against Providence-St. Mel since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Broncos will host the Knights at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Walther Christian Academy has five straight victories, Providence-St. Mel has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Walther Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Lycee Francais de Chicago, taking the game 2-0.

While Walther Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Providence-St. Mel came up short against Westmont on Thursday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-10.

Providence-St. Mel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Walther Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Walther Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Providence-St. Mel in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
