In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Walther Christian Academy Broncos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Providence-St. Mel Knights.

The Broncos (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL). The come into the non-league challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Southland College Prep was defeated by Donovan (Donovan, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellison for a Chicago Prep test on Thursday, October 9. Providence-St. Mel will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-6.
