Soccer Recap: Clear Fork Triumphs

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Clear Fork ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Kenton Wildcats 2-1. That's more bragging rights for Clear Fork, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

AJ Swendal was the driving force of Clear Fork's attack as he scored both of Clear Fork's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.

Clear Fork is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those six matches. As for Kenton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4-5.

Looking ahead, Clear Fork will take on Elida at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kenton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
