Football Recap: Farmington Falls Short Against Ranked Piedra Vista

Farmington faced Piedra Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Scorpions fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 17-14. The Scorpions just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Despite the loss, Farmington still got an impressive performance from Rock Kalcich, who rushed for 50 yards and one TD, and also threw for 115 yards and one touchdown.

The critical scores for Piedra Vista came from Caiden Fortney and Amasi Griego.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Piedra Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.
