Soccer Recap: Sigourney Comes Up Short

Sigourney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Highland Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sigourney of the 7-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Sigourney's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Highland, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Sigourney will square off against Central Lee at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Lee will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sigourney surely won't give up without a fight. Highland has already played their next match (against Keota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
