Cobi Mackey Game Report: vs Cheyenne Wells

On Saturday Cobi Mackey racked up double-digit boards for the very first time. She dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds as Springfield took down Cheyenne Wells 64-33. We marked that as the best effort she's had all season, even better than her performance on December 6th, 2025 (when she shot 50% from the field to rack up 22 points in addition to seven boards and five assists) (Gamescore: 27.7 vs. 25.4).

Looking ahead, Mackey and Springfield will challenge McClave at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns had to take a loss when they last met the Cardinals, but Mackey had little to do with the loss: she posted 12 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
