Soccer Recap: Chariton Victorious

While Chariton's victory against Prairie City-Monroe wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers beat the Mustangs by a goal, winning 3-2. Chariton haven't had any issues with Prairie City-Monroe recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Chariton's victory bumped their record up to 9-1-2. As for Prairie City-Monroe, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chariton will welcome Pella Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Boone at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Boone will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Prairie City-Monroe surely won't give up without a fight.
