Fremont-Mills took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Lenox, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Tigers 9-8 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since May 29th.

Fremont-Mills has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games.
