Football Recap: Springfield Takes Down Ranked Windsor

Springfield faced Windsor in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cosmos came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 20-12. The game was the first time the Cosmos have beaten the Yellowjackets on their field since September 14, 2019.

The win (which was Springfield's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 30.0 points this season. As for Windsor, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springfield will face off against Bellows Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Windsor, they will head out to face off against Mt. Abraham at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
