Recap: Bedford Bisons vs. Everett Warriors
The Bedford Bisons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 53-44 to Everett. If Bedford hoped to take revenge for the 49-38 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Despite the defeat, Bedford saw an underclassman step up: Rebekah Costal scored 15 points. Shannon Letrent was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Bedford has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Everett, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Bedford's road trip will continue as they head out to face Penn Cambria at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Penn Cambria presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bedford in Pennsylvania (Penn Cambria is ranked 175th, while Bedford is ranked 431st). As for Everett, they will be playing at home against Fannett Metal at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
