There's no place like home for King's Ridge Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears on Thursday as they made off with a 7-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Golden Bears: they've now won three in a row.

Karina French spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sadie Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in October of 2024. Brooke Johnson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

King's Ridge Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.
