Soccer Recap: Tri-State Christian Triumphs

Tri-State Christian's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Galesburg Christian Lions by a score of 3-1. Tri-State Christian better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Aaron Leverentz, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Tri-State Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Galesburg Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Tri-State Christian and Galesburg Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Huskies see the pitch they'll take on East Moline Christian at 4:30 p.m. on the 8th. As for Galesburg Christian, their break will end when they face Quad Cities Christian at 5:00 p.m. on the 12th.
