The third road game was the charm for Richard Montgomery, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 21-12 win over the Wootton Patriots on Friday. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Jaylen Garcia had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 55 receiving yards and one touchdown. Isisah Womack made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Richard Montgomery picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Wootton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Richard Montgomery will face off against Gaithersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wootton, they will head out on the road to face off against Sherwood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so the Patriots' offense will have their work cut out for them.
