Volleyball Game Preview: Centennial Coyotes vs. Ironwood Eagles

Centennial hasn't had much luck against Ironwood recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Coyotes will look to defend their home court against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Centennial didn't have quite enough to beat Sunrise Mountain and fell 3-2.

Centennial wouldn't go down easily and took Sunrise Mountain into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 15-25, 23-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Ironwood came tearing into Tuesday's match with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-20.

Ironwood's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
