Soccer Recap: Palm Springs vs. Xavier Prep

Palm Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Xavier Prep Saints. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on January 13th.

Their goal came courtesy of Nevaeh Alvarez, who's now up to four this season.

Palm Springs now has a losing record at 7-8-2. As for Xavier Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5-2 record this season.
