Soccer Recap: Johnson vs. Battery Creek
After losing to Battery Creek the last time they met, Johnson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Johnson Atomsmashers skirted past the Battery Creek Dolphins 4-3. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Atomsmashers considering their one-goal performance the match before.
They hit Battery Creek with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abdul Mohammed, Mickael Wisaela, Rilly Hernandez, and Waswa Drajoru.
Johnson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. Battery Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1.
Johnson has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Beach on the 11th. As for Battery Creek, they will head out on the road to take on North Charleston at 7:30 p.m. on March 18th.
