Farmington entered their tilt with Detroit Country Day on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Yellowjackets.

Jaden Chase looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Joshua 'J.J' Dail was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jayden Essary, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Farmington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Farmington's victory bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Detroit Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1.
