Softball Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss

Westminster hit Prairie View with a five-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Thunderhawks lost 11-1 to the Wolves. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairie View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayla Gonzales, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Prairie View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Westminster, their record now sits at 5-6.

Prairie View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-6 victory against Boulder on the 13th. As for Westminster, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Adams City on the 12th.
