McIntosh is a perfect 9-0 against Northgate since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The McIntosh Chiefs will venture away from home to face off against the Northgate Vikings at 6:00 p.m. McIntosh will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

McIntosh's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Lovejoy with a sharp 10-0 win. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Northgate made sure to put some goals up on the board against Chamblee on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Vikings were the better team in the second half.

McIntosh's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four contests. As for Northgate, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Everything went McIntosh's way against Northgate in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as McIntosh made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for McIntosh since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
