Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wesleyan walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Hebron Christian Lions with a sharp 8-1 victory on Friday. Considering the Wolves have won 18 matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the tenth in a row for Wesleyan, bringing their record up to 29-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hebron Christian, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 30-3.

As of now, neither Wesleyan nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
