Baseball Recap: Union Grove Snags Fourth Victory in Last Five Games

After losing to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy the last time they met, Union Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Union Grove Wolverines walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers on Wednesday.

Union Grove has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-9.

Union Grove will have a chance to go back-to-back against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
