Basketball Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 37-18 fall against the Amador Buffaloes.

Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Amador, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Cordova will take on McNair in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Taliyah Johnson and Kalysa Phanhsavang. Amador and Bear Creek will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Amador is facing Bear Creek at the right time seeing as Bear Creek is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
