Softball Recap: Jenkins Takes a Loss

Jenkins fell victim to Savannah Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 18-0 to the Raiders. Having soared to a lofty 32 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jenkins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Savannah Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Jenkins and Savannah Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 371st) will meet Long County (ranked 70th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Savannah Christian will challenge Vidalia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (255 vs. 96).
