Basketball Game Preview: American Eagles vs. Moreau Catholic Mariners

Moreau Catholic is facing American at the wrong time: American suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a 55-40 bruising from the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Moreau Catholic entered their tilt with Kennedy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 57-36 margin over the Titans. With the Mariners ahead 36-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Moreau Catholic's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for American, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.

American might still be hurting after the 57-35 loss they got from Moreau Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can American avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
