Allatoona came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Hiram Hornets as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering the Buccaneers have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Anthony Planeta was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sam Tomczak, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

Allatoona always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hiram only posted an OBP of .167.

Allatoona's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Hiram, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Allatoona beat the Hornets by a score of 13-0 on Wednesday.
