Jefferson came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the West Hall Spartans. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-0 win back in March.

Jefferson pushed their record up to 17-13 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for West Hall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season.
