Softball Recap: Northview Comes Up Short

Northview lost against Marist back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Titans came up short against the War Eagles, falling 17-1.

Northview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexandria Bombard, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Northview's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Marist, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northview is set to challenge their familiar foe Druid Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marist will take on rival St. Pius X Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the War Eagles 3.9, the Golden Lions 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
