Baseball Recap: Woodstock Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Woodstock's offense. They fell 4-0 to the River Ridge Knights on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wolverines' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Woodstock has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season. As for River Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Woodstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for River Ridge, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on North Springs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
