Softball Recap: Lafayette County Comes Up Short

Lafayette County's last matchup with Harrisburg could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Huskers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-1. The Huskers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Amos, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Amos' first of the season.

Lafayette County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Harrisburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

As of now, neither Lafayette County nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
