Football Recap: Giles County Drops Highest Score of Season Against Jackson North Side

Giles County extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 5-3. Everything went their way against the Jackson North Side Indians as they made off with a 47-21 win. The Bobcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Pierson Collier, who rushed for 279 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Giles County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 289 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

As for Jackson North Side, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since November 8, 2024.
