Softball Recap: Salisbury Takes a Loss

Salisbury had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the North Callaway Thunderbirds, falling 14-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 8-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The win got North Callaway back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Salisbury is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Carrollton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Callaway, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-3 loss against Hallsville on the 30th.
