Soccer Recap: Norton Science & Language Academy Plays to a Tie

Norton Science & Language Academy came into Thursday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They and the Public Safety Academy Phoenix finished up on equal footing with a 4-4 draw on Thursday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Rockets' first draw of the season.

They hit Public Safety Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aliah Lopez (2), Jazlyn Rochin, and Violeta Hernadez.

Norton Science & Language Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 1-3-1. As for Public Safety Academy, they moved theirs to 3-3-1.

Norton Science & Language Academy won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Redlands Adventist Academy at 3:15 p.m. on January 16, 2025. After both having extra time off, Public Safety Academy and Cornerstone Christian will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 2:15 p.m. on January 13, 2025. Cornerstone Christian has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 24 goals over their last three matches.
