Basketball Recap: Sanger Falls Despite Big Games from Zoe Gonzalez and Sofia Aguilar

Sanger lost against Hoover last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The contest between the Sanger Apaches and the Hoover Patriots didn't end well, with the Sanger Apaches falling 52-34.

Sanger's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sofia Aguilar, who posted 14 points and five steals, and Zoe Gonzalez, who put up four points.

Sanger's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Hoover, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Sanger has already played their next match, a 58-26 victory against Edison on the 11th. As for Hoover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-7 win against Liberty on the 8th.
