Softball Recap: Janesville Takes a Loss

Janesville suffered their closest loss since June 12th on Monday. They fell just short of the Don Bosco Dons by a score of 5-3. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dons earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Janesville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Don Bosco, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Janesville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Rockford on the 1st. As for Don Bosco, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-3 win against Jesup on the 1st.
