Soccer Recap: Immanuel Takes a Loss

Immanuel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-2 to the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears.

Tori Matlak and Ellyann Thomas scored both of Immanuel's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Immanuel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-6. As for Sierra Pacific, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-4.

Coming up, Immanuel will face off against Hanford West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Immanuel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Sierra Pacific, they will take on Kerman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kerman's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
