Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Alemany vs. Immaculate Heart

Bishop Alemany hasn't had much luck against Immaculate Heart recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bishop Alemany Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Immaculate Heart Pandas at 6:00 p.m. Bishop Alemany's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Bishop Alemany fell victim to Flintridge Sacred Heart and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tologs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Tologs are ranked 139th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Immaculate Heart was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They fell just short of Flintridge Sacred Heart by a score of 2-1.

Immaculate Heart's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4-1. As for Bishop Alemany, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-1.
