Basketball Recap: Linville Hill Piles Up the Points Against Mount Calvary Christian

Linville Hill had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 54-27 win over the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Ellie Rishel was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards. Another player making a difference was Leah Kurtz, who made all 5 shots she took racking up 12 points.

Linville Hill's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Mount Calvary Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-4.
