Baseball Recap: Whitehall Takes a Loss

Hadley Luzerne hit Whitehall with a five-run seventh inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Railroaders might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-5 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Railroaders haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Whitehall's record is now 5-8. As for Hadley Luzerne, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8.

Whitehall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hadley Luzerne, they will face off against Saratoga Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
