Baseball Game Preview: Upson-Lee Knights vs. LaGrange Grangers

For the first time this season, Upson-Lee will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will take on the LaGrange Grangers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Upson-Lee barely beat Crawford County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Upson-Lee never let Crawford County get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Tuesday. While the Knights didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, LaGrange narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Foundation Academy 7-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grangers.

Upson-Lee's victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-3. As for LaGrange, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
