Softball Preview: Blue River vs. Milford Eagles

Blue River hasn't had much luck against Milford recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Blue River will look to defend their home field against Milford at 5:30 p.m. Blue River will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Blue River got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over Wahoo.

Abby Lindsley made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up four earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August.
