Basketball Recap: Laquan Prunty Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Moore Haven

Eastside hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They had just enough and edged the Moore Haven Terriers out 43-40.

Eastside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Laquan Prunty led the charge by putting up six points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Amari Ray, who posted nine points.

Eastside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Moore Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
