It was a good run, but Minneapolis unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hillsboro Trojans by a score of 2-1. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Minneapolis sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-16, 16-25, 25-17.

Minneapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Hillsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

Minneapolis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Halstead on the 11th. As for Hillsboro, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rock Creek on the 11th.
