Cherry proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 36) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Braham/Rysdam Academy 30-28. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Cherry now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Braham/Rysdam Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Cherry will take on East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.6 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Braham/Rysdam Academy, they will face off against Deer River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
