Softball Recap: Westover Comes Up Short

Westover lost against Peach County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots lost 14-1 to the Trojans. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Westover saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Timeria Neal, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Westover has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Peach County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Westover will face off against Turner County at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Peach County, they will square off against Warner Robins at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
