Volleyball Recap: Astronaut Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Merritt Island, Astronaut was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bullard Panthers by a score of 2-0.

Lesleigh Amos paced Astronaut's offense, picking up ten kills. Amos also shared the team's lead in assists with Kenley Monroe: they picked up ten each. Charli Tipton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Astronaut now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bullard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Astronaut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against East Central on the 28th. As for Bullard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cornerstone Charter Academy on the 28th.
