Soccer Recap: Osborne Takes a Loss

Osborne's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Campbell Spartans, falling 4-1. Osborne were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Campbell apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Osborne has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Campbell and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Osborne will welcome Hillgrove at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Osborne is facing Hillgrove at the right time seeing as Hillgrove is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Campbell, they are taking a road trip to face off against Paulding County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campbell will be up against Paulding County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.36 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
