Mountain View's contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Notre Dame Tigers onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Give the Spartans' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

They hit Notre Dame with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Charlotte Higgins (2), Kalea Dwelle, and Eliza Barton.

Mountain View's record is now 3-0. As for Notre Dame, they now have a losing record at 1-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on Sequoia at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Notre Dame, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Woodside at 12:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Notre Dame's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
