After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheat Ridge, Adams City was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Aurora Central Trojans 16-6. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Giannah Chavez was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Chavez was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted over her last ten contests.

In other batting news, Karyme Martinez was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September. Joselyn Enriquez-Ruiz also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Adams City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Aurora Central only posted an OBP of .393.

Adams City's record is now 7-12. As for Aurora Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
